We are up and running after the holiday break and there is going to be a lot of exciting projects at Accon Greentech AB this autumn. We have started a project manufacturing plastic pallets for our big bags. We will use the plastic from big bags to produce the plastic pallets that will later be used in a return system.
In the Nordic countries Accon currently uses more than 30 000 disposable wooden pallets that could be replaced by plastic or composite pallets. Such pallets can be reused at least 20 times before their life cycle has expired.
We can also see a great advantage in crushing damaged plastic pallets to manufacture new recycled pallets and in this way reuse the recycled material. These pallets will of course be connected to our RFR system (Ready For Recycling). These products are optimally developed for an easy return in a recycling process.
