Participating in a fair like Scanpack is very exciting and this year it was probably full pot. I probably didn't expect to be there every day, but that's how it turned out. On Friday you were a little tender, I must admit, and it's a short trip back to Öland and it was a weekend where you had to recharge your batteries a bit.
But the fair was a lot of fun to participate in and the interest in recycling and closed loops is great in the market and we had many visitors that I think we will see again. We are already seeing that we are getting more meetings booked where we meet as a team out at the customer's place where salespeople work on the product together with me. This gives us a good model where customers get the whole thing from us. If Accon is allowed to deliver the packaging, we can ensure that the right product is in the packaging for us to try to reach the RFR.
We have also received some orders for raw material from large bags where we have received a positive response to the first shipment. We had the material at Scanpack in our stand in a large sack and we had to sell that sack on to the same customer in Norway. Nice to not have to take the material back and put it in stock when you can sell it directly.
We also had the opportunity to present the project Stop the cycle for industrial plastics together with Martin Strååt at Novoplast. We had the great joy of being on stage at Scanpack Pioneers where, above all, Martin presented the project in its entirety.
We also received an award from the Packnorth Award, where Accon Greentech AB was named the winner in the industrial packaging category. Read more about this on our News, where there is a YouTube film from the award ceremony.
