We are pleased to announce that we have successfully produced recycled polyethylene (rPE) from the Big Bags processed by Accon GreenTech AB.
As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability, we have taken another step forward in our recycling efforts. All Big Bags with a PE inner liner have been sorted during the recycling process, with some being blended with re-granulated material. Our current focus is isolating the film component and recycling the polyethylene separately. This initiative allows us to explore the production of inner bags using recycled materials.
Our tests are conducted at the laboratory level to assess the material's properties. We aim to formulate an optimal blend of materials that yields a product with superior welding properties. One of the challenges we face is retaining the clarity or whiteness of the plastic used for these inner bags. To address this, we are developing an advanced sorting system that prevents material discoloration.
